Plan the cord route
Observe the POWER MIG 211i inlet, handle and cart clearance. Mark a hook position that keeps the cable off the floor without forcing a tight bend at the plug.
Keep the hook away from the gas regulator, torch cable and wheel path. Do not cover the machine's ventilation openings.
Make the hook and bracket
Bend a generous radius rather than a sharp hook. Weld or bolt the bracket to the cart using a simple gusset or second contact point. Test the empty cart before installing the welder.
Remove sharp edges and inspect the finished weld. The hook is a cable support, not a lifting point.
Test the finished cart
Run the power cord through the hook without tension and check that it cannot slip into a wheel or touch the work surface. Confirm the plug remains accessible for disconnecting power.
Keep the garage ventilated and test the cart empty before loading the 41-pound machine.
