Measure the bench and cart
Plan the rack for small clamps, pliers and a short cable. Measure the Handler 140EZ footprint and keep the lifting handle, spool access and gas-valve area clear.
Use a stable wall or bench location. A rack that pulls away from its mounts is more dangerous than a crowded bench.
Weld a simple frame
Build a rectangular frame with a back plate or wall brackets. Check square before adding hooks. Tacks should be small and balanced so the frame does not curl away from the mounting surface.
Use the machine's documented polarity and settings. The Hobart is a 120V MIG, so keep its circuit and grounding path under review.
Load and inspect
Mount the empty rack, check fasteners and then add a small load. Keep cables out of walking paths and away from hot work.
Do not hang a gas cylinder or use the rack as an anchor for a fall or lifting system.
