Confirm the 120V supply and grounding
Set EZ Mode only after the machine is connected to a compatible 120V circuit. Check the manual, breaker guidance and grounding path instead of assuming a garage outlet is dedicated.
Have a licensed electrician verify the panel and install any new circuit. Keep the work cable clamp on clean, bare metal for a stable return path.
Secure gas and aluminum accessories
The regulator and gas hose are included, but shielding gas and the spool gun are separate. Secure the cylinder upright and keep it away from heat and impact.
Confirm the spool-gun model and polarity before aluminum work. Unplug the machine before changing the gun, drive roll or consumables.
Handle the machine without injury
At roughly 57 pounds, the Handler is best stored on a stable cart rather than lifted repeatedly. Clear the cable route and keep the work area free of slips and trip hazards.
Open the garage, use local exhaust and wear suitable protective equipment. Stop work if fumes or heat controls stop behaving as expected.
